ChatterLocks · demo · spec 0.11
An author wrote a short opinion piece with an AI assistant and published the conversation, with three private details withheld. Check that what you can see is what they committed to, then try to cheat.
A demo, with a made-up conversation. It runs the commitment checks from the spec in your browser: hashing every passage, rebuilding the tree, recomputing the commitment, and checking a revealed passage. Timestamps, witnesses, seals, signatures and the notary are not in it yet. Nothing here is sent anywhere.
The commitment at the bottom is the only thing a reader needs to trust, and every archived copy of the essay keeps it.
Dashed boxes are withheld; the label is the author's description. A solid box is the author's replacement wording, not the original.
A reader asks where the author teaches. The author can reveal that passage alone, because it is their own detail. The student's name stays withheld; revealing it is not the author's call.
Read the specification for all of it.
